NOTICE OF MERGER OF BANKS Notice is hereby given that Citizens Bank, 301 East Main Street, Kilgore, Texas 75662, a wholly-owned subsidiary of East Texas Financial Corporation, Kilgore, Texas, has made application to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation for its written consent for Texas National Bank of Jacksonville, 300 Neches Street, Jacksonville, Texas 75766, a wholly-owned subsidiary of East Texas Financial Corporation, Kilgore, Texas, to merge with and into Citizens Bank. Citizens Bank will be the resulting entity from the bank merger and the separate corporate existence of Texas National Bank of Jacksonville will cease. Following the bank merger, Citizens Bank will remain a wholly-owned subsidiary of East Texas Financial Corporation. All offices of Texas National Bank of Jacksonville and Citizens Bank will continue to be operated following the proposed merger transaction.
