NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids addressed to the City of Tyler, Texas, will be received in the Purchasing Office, 304 North Border, Tyler, Texas 75702, Attention: Purchasing Manager, until 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 and will be publicly opened immediately afterwards in the City Council Chambers, 212 North Bonner, City Hall, 2nd Floor. Sealed bids will be for furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, superintendence, and labor for construction of the following being improvements for the City of Tyler, Texas: City of Tyler Bid Number: 27-003 Project Name: 2027 Asphalt Crack Seal Project The project includes: 60,000 – 70,000 pounds of Asphalt Pavement Crack Sealing using a hot crack seal for numerous streets in the City of Tyler. We estimate the crack sealing to cover approximately 30 lane miles (based on 12-foot lane width). Forms of proposal, contract, bonds, insurance, plans and specifications may be obtained at the office of the City Engineer, Water Utilities Administrative Office, 511 West Locust Street, Tyler, Texas, upon deposit of $35.00 per set. The deposit is non-refundable. Mailing costs will not be refunded. Electronic plans, bid tab, and specifications (PDF) are available upon emailed request.
