REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The County of Smith is accepting proposals for RFP-30-26: Specific and Aggregate Stop Loss Re-Insurance, Transplant Carve Out. Specifications may be obtained from Brinson Benefits 214-379-5172 or Smith County Purchasing Director, Jaye Latch, 903-590-4720. Specifications can also be found on Smith County website: www.smith-county.com under the Purchasing Department or obtained through Publicpurchase.com. Proposals will be accepted until 11:00 A.M. local time, THURSDAY, June 4, 2026, via sealedbids@brinsonbenefits.com, at which time they will be publicly opened. All proposals received will be presented to the Insurance Committee, at which time the County reserves the right to accept, negotiate, amend, accept and/or reject any or all proposals. Smith County reserves the right to award by unit cost or lump sum discount and waive any irregularities or formalities in the best interest of Smith County. Payments will be processed by the County Auditor after notification of satisfactory receipt of items.
