PUBLIC NOTICE The Smith County Appraisal District is currently accepting proposals for Life, Health, Dental, and Vision insurance coverage. Specifications may be obtained by contacting the Business Office at the Smith County Appraisal District at 245 SSE Loop 323, Tyler, TX 75702, (903) 510-8600. Proposals are to specify costs by insurance category and are to be submitted to the Business Office by 4:00 PM, Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Proposals shall be opened so as to avoid disclosure of contents to competing offerors and kept secret during the process of negotiation. However, all proposals that have been submitted shall be open for public inspection after the contract is awarded. The responsible offeror whose proposal is determined to be the most suitable, taking into consideration the relative importance of price and other evaluation factors set forth in the request for proposals, shall be awarded the purchase by the Smith County Appraisal District Board of Directors. Smith County Appraisal District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
