If you or your attorney does not file a written answer with the clerk who issued this citation by 10:00 a.m. on the Monday next following the expiration of forty-two (42) days from the date of the issuance of this citation, a default judgment may be taken against you. You are hereby commanded to appear by filing a written answer to the Plaintiff’s Application for Appointment of Receiver at or before ten o’clock a.m. of the Monday next after the expiration of forty-two days from the date of the issuance of this citation, same being Monday July 6, 2026, before the Honorable Brad Morin, 71st Judicial District Court of Harrison County, Texas, at the Court House of said County in Marshall, Texas. TGNR EAST TEXAS II LLC, Petitioner, filed suit in said Court on the 22nd day of May, 2026, against MARISSA ROGERS AND HER UNKNOWN HEIRS, SUCCESSORS OR ASSIGNS, Defendant, and said suit being numbered 26-0401 on the docket of said Court, and styled, TGNR EAST TEXAS II LLC vs. MARISSA ROGERS AND HER UNKNOWN HEIRS, SUCCESSORS OR ASSIGNS. A brief statement of the nature of this suit is as follows, to wit: Plaintiff is seeking Appointment of a Receiver to execute oil, gas and mineral lease, assignment, memorandum of oil and gas lease or other necessary documents relating to the undivided mineral and leasehold interest for the following tracts of land: 115.00 acres of land, more or less, a part of the P. Dougherty Survey, A-5, Harrison County, Texas, being comprised of the following three (3) tracts: TRACT ONE: 102.0 acres of land, more or less, a part of the P. Dougherty Survey, A-5, Harrison County, Texas, being a 132-acre tract called “Survey No. 1” awarded to George C. Jefferson in that certain Partition Deed dated February 10, 1887, recorded in Volume 24, Page 512 of the Deed Records of Harrison County, Texas, and also being the second tract described in that certain Deed dated January 17, 1898, from E. C. Jefferson to Mrs. M. R. Akin, recorded in Volume 40, Page 16, Deed Records of Harrison County, Texas, SAVE AND EXCEPT 30.0 acres of land, more or less, being the same land described in that certain Deed dated October 31, 1938, from Lucy E. Akin, et al., to Benjamin F. Akin recorded in Volume 236, Page 499 of the Deed Records of Harrison County, Texas. TRACT TWO: 5.0 acres of land, more or less, a part of the P. Dougherty Survey, A-5, Harrison County, Texas, being the same land described in that certain Deed dated February 12, 1897, from E. C. Jefferson to Mrs. Rozzie Akin, recorded in Volume 36, Page 178 of the Deed Records of Harrison County. TRACT THREE: 8.0 acres of land, more or less, a part of the P. Dougherty Survey, A-5, Harrison County, Texas, being the same land described in that certain Deed dated February 28, 1922, from J. B. and Lucy Akin to M. R. Akin, recorded in Volume 125, Page 283 of the Deed Records of Harrison County, Texas. Petitioner is represented by J. DON WESTBROOK, P.O. BOX 2665, LONGVIEW, TEXAS, 75606. If this Citation is not served within ninety days after the date of its issuance, it shall be returned unserved. The officer executing this writ shall promptly serve the same according to requirements of law, and the mandates hereof, and make due return as the law directs.
